i’ve been feeling all sorts of ladylike lately. so these beautiful cards from jill at beau ideal editions in brooklyn are right up my alley (and remind me of my favorite dorothy draper hotel, the greenbrier). jill makes her hand screen printed cards and prints using gocco and traditional silk screening methods. i just love all the flowers….swoon-inducing and perfect for valentine’s day. click here to check out jill’s work and shop online. enjoy! [thanks, jill]

I bought some of Jill’s cards before Christmas to hang in my bedroom, they are even more beautiful in person!
Yeah, these are really lovely. As a silkscreener myself, it’s nice to know she’s using some traditional methods with the gocco to great effect. Really lovely color palette/s.
These are great – I just ordered the doily notecards to frame as a set of four! Can’t wait to see them in real life.
Jill is amazing – I have the large crest print which is even more beautiful in person! She has a perfect sense of color (her dog prints are cool and adorable too) site is a must if looking for great cards
the flower heart card made a wonderful valentines gift – I’m going to be checking Jill’s wares for future purchases!
