this beautiful collage is from artist amy alice thompson. based in ottawa, amy is part of the canadian artists’ group called enriched bread artists. she has a beautiful collection of collage work that you can view right here- i thought this sunny “joy ride” piece would be a perfect way to warm up on a cold friday morning.

I love this! Your posts on artists are always fun to see.
This made me giggle a little…in my very first apartment, I had wallpaper that looked almost exactly like this. I immediately ripped it down and replaced it with wallpaper in the “current” jewel tones (burgandy, hunger green, navy blue). Of course, that was in the early 90′s. If only I had moved into that apartment 20 years later! I would have loved that wallpaper, just like I love this fantastic collage.
It has definitely warmed up a cold London!!
heh. when i first looked at the image, i thought it was a post about a groovy new bicycle on the market. i’d love to have some wheels like that!
beautiful, fun collage.
