one last post for the day: beautiful new tea towels from heather at skinny laminx. i’ve always loved the colorways she uses and this new pattern is printed lovely shades of ochre/green and blue. “summer day” is available for $11 right here in either “dry grass” or “poppyseed” colors. heather says the overall design makes her think of dandelion seeds drifting across a summer sky and i couldn’t agree more. thanks, heather!

As is true of most of the things in our house, I found both the dish and the cup at my favourite car boot sale. The cup has the mark Thomas, and it’s made by Villeroy and Bosch. It’s part of a set with a beautiful teapot that’s just outside of the picture. The dish is a recent find. I don’t know anything about it, but it has a number and mark on the bottom, saying “Sweden”. I’m most intrigued.
