i’ve blithered on for the past three years about my obsession with jen corace‘s work so i’ll save you the recap (you can listen to me geek-out on her podcast right here). she’s an amazing artist and pretty much any show of hers is worth making a trek for. thankfully for those of us in the nyc area the trek won’t be so long this time! eric, the owner of giant robot, sent over some information and images from jen’s upcoming show at the giant robot gallery in nyc (437 east 9th street). the show, “told you so”, will have an opening reception on saturday, november 17th from 6:30-10pm and will run through december 5, 2007. “told you so” will feature 22 new pen and ink, watercolor, and acrylic pieces, all of which i’ll have to physically force myself not to buy. if you’re in the area, or would like to come into town for the show, just click here for more details on the show and directions to giant robot. [thanks, eric!]
[stay tuned for a new city guide next: AUSTIN]

I also love her work, wish I could go! Congratulations to Jen on her new show.

Those are amazing! Do you know if any will be available on line? I really want to do the Pledge Handmade for the holidays, but I want to know that I can cover everyone on my list before I make a promise I can’t keep. This would cover at least one if not two people on my list.
i’ll be at the jen show! i’m so excited…my bank account, however, is trembling. eeps.
ah ha, okay, I thought that was a separate post below the “stay tuned” announcement. I love that bear piece!
