Melina and Dodd Raissnia of Peace Industry in San Francisco create the most beautiful rugs I have ever seen. Their storefront, in the Hayes Valley neighborhood smells like wool and is a feast for the eyes to boot. The two own and operate their own workshop in Iran where they make the rugs, all of which are designed by Melina. Peace Industry felt rugs are made from 100% lamb’s wool and natural dyes. They are hand-made in small batches insuring that each piece is unique. They are earth-friendly, chemical-free, and fair trade. Love them.
