weekly wrap up

1
it’s been one heck of a week here at d*s. the new site is finally (knock on wood) running smoothly after a bumpy start and both of the new columns are live! thank you so much for sticking with us while we fix all the glitches. i also wanted to take a moment to thank the lovely kim and jo from desire to inspire for their fantastic guest blog posts this week. they shared some seriously gorgeous interiors (samples of which are above and below) so please check out the guest blog for a glimpse into their world. a wrap up of this week’s highlights are below, see you on monday with a new guest blogger (alyson fox!), a new sneak peek and plenty of craft projects and recipes. xo, grace.

We’ve loved every moment of guest blogging on design*sponge. Thank you so much for asking us. The new layout is a triumph Grace and we were so glad to be a part of the relaunch. Thanks again!

That thing on the stove – is it what i think, which is a steamer for making milk froth? If yes, where did you get it? It is so brilliant and I desperately want one! I live in Denmark, so the brand/make would be very helpful.

Congrats on the gorgeous new site! No doubt you’ve earned a glass of wine or 4 this weekend after the launch!
The site is BEAUTIFUL and I look forward to getting even more d* fixes daily!

I really like the new look. The design for the post headings is really fantastic. Props to whoever thought of the translucent ribbon. I’ve got to show this to my graphic designer friend.

I just Lover your site!. can you tell me what CMS you are using. I created several Blogger blong/sites but’s quite difficult to add pages without adding new blogs, and if add a new blog, I cannot tie it to the “main” blog. I want o be able to have a “main page” with the latest blog posts, but also to have separate pages with selected blog entries only or just static data… am I asking too much? :(… you can see one of my “blog/sites” at 7fl6.com
