to coop and victoria

coop
i wanted to take a time out to send a very big hug to victoria of sfgirlbybay. her wonderful, loving dog coop passed away last night and i know how hard that can be. ac and i were really honored to spend some time taking care of coop this summer and i’m so sad to hear that he’s no longer with us. i think there are few dogs that were loved as much as coop was (and still is). the whole d*s family is sending their thoughts and love out west today, to coop and victoria, who we care about very much.

I can tell by the photo that Coop was a great dog with an amazing personality. I’ll be thinking good thoughts about him.

That is so sad… Victoria, my thoughts are with you. Your pup seems like an amazing mate.

I will be crushed when it comes time for my own little guy to leave me. I can only imagine how Victoria is feeling right now. Stay strong!

A native american once told my boyfriend that they believe the reason why dogs are granted such short lives is because dogs naturally have so much goodness, purity, loyalty and love innately instilled in them that they cannot better themselves in life. They don’t need as much time here like us because well there’s not much room for improvement. I’m probably not relaying the info as beautifully as she did but I believe she is right in every way. I’d take a dog over a human any day of the week.

Victoria: My heart goes out to you and you family. He was a beautiful dog.

I have never met Coop but I still teared up at my desk reading Victoria’s post this morning. He was very loved.

I’m very sorry for Victoria. I can imagine how heartbreaking it is. A pet is such a member of the family. So sorry.

I fear for the day when my furry companion goes… she keeps me sane. the mental connection you can make with an animal can be far moreso than with another human. or maybe that’s just me having strange friends….

sorry to hear the news.

Well, I have 17 dogs and 20 cats and when one of them dies is a whole world that dies with him/her. It’s like when a son dies: even if a mother has other children, his/her loss will be deeply felt. Nothing can replace that.
