next saturday, october 13, lisa solomon is having a show at the little bird gallery in los angeles. ‘over the river and through the woods’ will have it’s opening party that night from 7-10 so if you’re in town please do stop by. it looks like a great show- i love these little crocheted trees.

Oh my. This makes me laugh- I’m a landscape architect and when I was in school, the students would always make their site models out of crazy things. These “trees” look like something we would have done our first year… with green gumdrop “shrubs” and kitty litter gravel. Ah, memories.

Gosh these are lovely…!! Wish I could see them in person…they are like little clouds on sticks, and the fact they are also doilies and trees only makes them even better in my eyes…beautiful :)
