I hope you’ve got your comfy shoes on because today and tomorrow we are going shopping in Sydney to visit a couple of my favourite haunts! Let’s go shopping…

Sydney, in my opinion, has some of the best furniture/homeware stores in Australia. I must say I am a little biased though as Sydney is also one of my most favourite cities in the world out of those I have visited so far. It’s-multi cultural society, warm weather, beautiful harbour, great restaurants and pretty tree lined and terrace house clad streets are just some of the wonderful features of Sydney. But the best feature by far is the shopping!!!

So I start this week with my all time favourite homewares shop in Australia the iconic Orson & Blake. Whenever I visit Sydney, Orson & Blake in Queen Street, Woollahra is my first port of call in the hire car after we have touched down on an early flight from Brisbane oh and after a coffee at Jones The Grocer, which is just around the corner in Moncur Street.

Orson & Blake’s window displays are always so beautifully executed and inside is a visual treat like no other. As I walk through the front door – after my initial excitement over the jaw dropping windows – I find myself almost in a lather of perspiration – their shop is like no other!

Orson & Blake has 2 stores; one in Woollahra which is in my opinion the absolute best and was the original flagship store and the other larger and more furniture-concentrated store is in Surrey Hills.
