I’ve always wanted to be paid to shop, to spend my days arranging beautiful vignettes, pulling rooms together with just the right accessories. I want to snoop through stylish homes looking for the perfect shot to capture their beauty. I want to be Megan Morton. Megan is an Australian stylist with editorial work for the likes of Martha Stewart, Vogue Australia, Real Simple and Elle Decorator in her portfolio. Talented, stylish and with a great eye she travels the world in search of beautiful things and place and people. OK I’m sure it’s a tough job and someone has to do it. I just wish it was me.

Megan sent these pictures to share with us. These were taken on her recent trip to the UK and Sweden. Clean mid-century lines and great Scandinavian home styling nous. I love the artwork above the child’s day bed and those shoe forms for jewellery display. Inspired! I’ve got 2 now I want more for my hallway landing strip.
Next time you pick up a magazine check the name of the stylist. It just might be Megan.

Love love love those shoe molds (or whatever you call them) holding the necklaces. Such a fun detail.
You could totally be a stylist. Maybe stylists say they wish they were running your blog!

Also, most things are less fun than we imagine they are.
