My BF and I stayed at the Medusa in December of 2005. It is in the most wonderful neighborhood, and only a few blocks away from the best breakfast place in the world — Bill’s. Definitely worth checking out.
i agree- its a wonderful area (i’m biased, i live in darlinghurst), local restaurants and boutiques are fabulous. But whilst the exterior of the Medusa is lovely (though the fountain tinkles all night… ) IMHO the rooms are neat but could do with an update. Not exactly an interior designers dream.
