when it comes to describing my height, petite is a generous term. one of the first things most people say when they meet me is, “man! you’re short!” i topped out at five feet sometime in high school and never made it past that point- for that reason, i’ll never be able to really pull off alison willoughby‘s beautiful skirts. karin first posted about alison’s skirts on the d*s guest blog a while back and i’ve been cursing my short legs ever since. for me, this is a tall-girl skirt, something meant to swish around legs much longer than mine. if that’s you (lucky you) click here to check out alison’s latest designs- they’re liking wearing a piece of art right on your body.

Some chairs are easy to reupholster but how about a rocking glider? I desperately need to upholster one but don’t have a clue how. The yucky polyester beige just has to go!
Aren’t these gorgeous ! I agree, you have to be tall to wear them . But maybe Alison Willoughby will soon make a Petite line (I’m petite as well !)……..; )
That’s me! I’m tall!
How exciting!
I’m with you on the shortside! Which I’m mostly fine with until I see skirts like these. Sigh.
anyone know where to purchase Alison’s line? lovely, so lovely…
