next week i’ll be bopping back and forth across the city covering events for the nyc/house & garden design happening festival. all next week there will be gobs of design-related events taking place and they managed to get me tickets to a few of them (including one with the queen herself, miss kelly wearstler!) so i’ll be covering them over at hg and over here if i feel like the content is appropriate. hg was kind enough to give me a handful of tickets to give away, but because i’m totally wiped i wasn’t able to come up with a contest quickly enough to run before the events start next week. so instead i’m happy to just give these tickets away to the first interested readers. here’s what we have, if you see something you like, shoot me an email and if it’s not sold out your name will be on the list. nothing like a free ticket to some great events. here’s what i’ve got:
1. 10 tickets to design at the movies all gone!
2. 10 tickets to passports to design midtown all gone!
3. 10 tickets to the crimes of taste panel (this will be great) all gone!
4. 10 tickets to the future face of new york (which includes daniel libeskind) all gone!
5. 10 tickets to the phillips de pury auction all gone!

Oh man. 2nd reason I wish I lived in new york (first was that awesome humanities festival or whatever it was where judd apatow held a lecture? Whatever that was called?) – I so would go to that Design in the movies thing. Sigh.
