Am I alone in thinking that Antropologie is just nuts with the pricing of their furniture? I mean, come on, $1500 for a retro chair with some crewel-work? Not to mention $3500 for an average price sofa….okay, sorry, but really? yeah, I love that they use re-issued 50′s original prints and all, but this has to stop! It is still Anthropologie, people, and not Cassina, Eames or Wegner…..(nuff said, going back to reuphostering my chairs)

I was just going to comment that — $1500?!?!?!?! I can’t support Anthropologie anyway for the owner’s insane politics, but seriously, would anyone pay that for that chair? You could get a vintage one on eBay and recover it for 1/3 of that. (I guess it’s good for inspiration?)
