Japanese-born Australian designer and fashion legend, Akira Isogawa joined forces with Australian rug company Designer Rugs in 2005 to design a “limited edition” collection of rugs. The outcome was amazing. Powerful geometric and organic designs emerged which featured a variety of weaves and pile combinations in pure wool, silk and viscose. This collaboration between designer and manufacturer was the first of many to follow with the likes of Dinosaur Designs, Cloth & Vixen joining the ranks.
