so beautiful! and the first pic reminds me (again) how much I miss my mushroom lamp from the 70′s—where did it go?

Ah! I’ve been collecting aboriginal paintings for years now and I’m constantly in awe of the colours and the detail. Many of them have fascinating stories of the dream sequences that inspired them.

Our Indigenous Artists of Australia, are in a genre of their own… The Dreamtime philosophy, is really quite beautiful. The contemporary artists, expressing their culture, have such an amazing sense of colour.

here is a website, that may be of interest to anyone, wanting to buy, or research, some really talented Indigenous Artists, from Oz.

I have loved Aboriginal Art for many years. Nancy Crow (fiberartist) has an amazing collection at her Barn, where there are quilting and surface design workshops – if anyone ever goes there. The art is so inspiring to the students.
Thank you for sharing it.
Peace.

Really nice pieces of art and I like these aboriginal Paintings too much. The Aboriginal art history time-line is one of the earliest continuous records of civilization. Aboriginal art belong to nature and aboriginal artist of Australia shows their traditions and culture through their beautiful paintings for thousands of years.
