Why do the women in Fox’s images all have no faces? ! I find this thematically disturbing and a major visual cop out, sorry to say.
So would you say Picasso’s choice to draw people in a non-representational way is a “cop out”?
I think that’s an uneducated comment to make.

Love, love, love her! She reminds me of two of my favorite artists – Amy Butler and Judy Blotnick. I really like these new works.
my favorite is the pigs. love the dress the girl has on… reminds me of kara janx.

i love these! Thanks for finding and sharing. And I love that J Crew elephant bracelet!
i see another alyson fox print in my near future…
if the faceless thing just isn’t your thing, i can appreciate that. i’ve always been a little creeped out by religious icons with no eyes, but that doesn’t mean the symbolic and stylistic choice to sculpt or draw them eyeless was a “cop out”.
I love the jcrew bracelet too-and these pieces are truly beautiful
how gorgeous!
absolutely love these prints and plan to purchase one!
