the rug company

i’m still on the hunt for a chevron-style rug for the dining room so i’ve been hopping from rug site to rug site. even though they’re out of my price range, i love so many of the rug company‘s designer collection styles- especially those from marni and vivienne westwood. although sometimes i think i like the styling of the photos even more. the blue wall and pink chaise in the last marni photo is just to die for.

Let us know if you find any 100% cotton rugs in your search. All I can find are wool, wool, wool, synthetic, and more wool. These are not so baby friendly. -M

btw- am so in love with the marni carpet.

Love the Rug Company’s styling. So ofen in an ad or their catalogue I gasp, “Love the rug, but what about the” …mirror, sofa, whatever. I have dealt with them (for clients) and they are dreamy to work with.

boconcept used to have a GREAT zigzag/chevron rug. it was on their website about a month and a half ago, i just looked last week and it wasnt there. it’s worth a call though if youre interested. i remember it was rather reasonably priced as well.

Hides & Co. (www.hidesandco.com) has chevron rugs in their Mosaic Cowhide Area Rug Collection. They can customize the rug by size, color, and design. Durable by nature, cowhide rugs are stain resistant (baby friendly) and suitable for use in high traffic areas.

Anyone have a guess at what the paint color might be for that blue wall? I want that for my hallway.

Anybody know where to find the fabulous pink chaise?
