hi!

this may have been posted or asked before and i may have missed it, but i was just wondering what are the things usually discussed during these meetings? is it usually all aspects of running a biz or an open forum?

thanks :)

it varies from meeting to meeting. the first brooklyn meet-up we had we did 30 minutes of meet and greet and then got into a huge group, introduced each other and then broke into groups according to discipline or area to discuss whatever people wanted.

the next meeting was more organized with “experts” representing public relations, manufacturing, legal issues and retailing. the experts spoke to rotating groups of 10 people or more to give a brief talk, answer questions and then hand out tip sheets.

i’d like to do a combo of both when i travel for these. still trying to figure out how to progress with the brooklyn one.

Yeah, I’m a bit surprised Austin isn’t up there. Grace, you totally need to get down to Austin sometime. We’d love to have you.

again, these are the top 5 because of the votes that readers have cast. i’m not selecting these- if you want to see boston or any other east cost city on there feel free to cast a vote ;)

I posted it on my Philly.com blog. Hopefully we will bump Philadelphia into the top 5.
