i was looking for some affordable basic lampshades at urban outfitters and came across these two pieces: a wood-grain 3d chandelier ($30) and a mirrored dressing table ($200). i’ve been toying with the idea of one of these chandeliers for a while now and this little wooden one is pretty cute. for $30 i might have to look into it…

I have the chandelier in white and love it. Very fun and a great conversation piece. I like the look of the wood grain, but FYI…the two pieces are held together by twistie-ties, which might be pretty obvious against the wood grain. Also the cord set only comes in white, which might detract from the wood grain.
I as well have this in white & it’s beautiful (love the wood grain! they did not have that when i bought mine) but for the life of me I cannot get it to sit straight. Perhaps I’m just rather un-brilliant…

love the shadows that it casts in the evening. i’ve got mine in black. and it was on sale for like $15 too.
i have it in black, and you can get the cord thing in black as well.
