one quick post before i go back to bed- i’m loving argington‘s new uber-modernist bunkbed for kids. sure beats those bright red steel ones i remember at friends’ houses growing up. the uffizi daybed comes with several finish options (those shown as well as a birch or walnut option) is set to debut at both brooklyn designs and icff. click here for more info on argington. [i’d love to see the bed in warmer colors, though. hopefully they’ll expand the line to include some warmer colors like yellow or a nice pear green]

    This reminds me of building blocks. I would have LOVED it when I was much younger, albeit in Lego colours!

    I think it would be smashing in bright primary colors – does not look too kid – friendly in black and white.
