josh spear has launched my dream agency- the spear collective (well, in my dream it’s called the d*s collective). josh signed 26 of his favorite artists to his brand new management collective. the focus will be on “curating art and design in a more sustainable and honest way within brands- not just as advertising, but as true reflections of what a brand means through our artist’s eyes”. click here for more info and to submit your work to the collective. according to the website, it is invitation only and they aren’t accepting submissions. boo hoo. :(
as far as I can tell, 25 out of 26 of Josh Spear’s favorite artists are men, which is his perogative. but can it really be your dream agency? say it isn’t so!
to own an agency that helps artists is my dream, not necessarily this version of the idea ;)
