These remind me of a couple of contemporary pieces I saw at NMAI (artist’s name escapes me), and also of Spirited Away. Very cool.
ashley’s stuff is great, i’ve been a fan since i saw her hit etsy. it has been fun to see what she comes up with! so many people adore her work, it’s so sweet and sincere. keep it up, ashley!

I got mine in the mail yesterday- I absolutely love this piece + look forward to finding a home for it on a wall in my new house.
