lately i’ve been most inspired by photos of real people’s homes. nothing reminds me to put more effort into the house than seeing what fellow design fans have done. wayne at good shape design sent over a photo from his house and i had to share. you may be familiar with wayne’s wife, fashion designer rebecca taylor- it’s so fun to peek inside their home. here is a description of the items within the photo from wayne:

“The stereo is by Tivoli Audio from the Conran Shop, The ceramic Blue Bird is by Bitossi from Luna, “Arm” painted metal tray is by Fornasetti from ebay, The piece of Cyprus Wood is from a little sidewalk market on Houston and Thompson; framed picture of birds is one of my drawings that will be available soon as a print to buy. The Piccaso book is from that great used bookstore by you (D*S) on 7th ave (in park slope). The coffee table is from City Foundry on Atlantic Ave. “
