I bought something very similar at my local hardward store for 8.99 as a stand by until I get just the right thing. I think it was made by GE. I suggest replacing the icky brass screws with some basic steel ones.

Artemide makes a pretty one called Castore but it's pricey, for about $350. Think they have table, floor and ceiling versions.

Hi! I didnt have any luck looking for these at the big home depot type places but i was looking for a variation on this light for another project. this is your best bet: http://www.grandbrass.com/ where you can piece together exactly what you want and need. You will need a little bit of knowledge on how to put a lamp together and they wont let you just walk on in and browse - nor will they talk you through the order...but they had everything i needed and at a cheap enough price (10 lamps cost what i priced for one lamp at other places). They are in Bushwick and you could order them and pick them up. For those particular globes go to replacement glass shades>>glass balls>>and then chose your size in the ones with no neck. Good luck!

You can also get this kind of lighting at Home Depot, I swear.

I grew up with my entire parents house lit by these kind of lights. My mom told me they were the cheapest option at the time! Still love them!
