Yeah I remember this list from when it was first posted. As an LA (specifically Silver Lake) native, I find that it's probably not even worth doing a post about, given how many Angelenos will be offended that you left off their favorite
boutique or cafe. An LA design guide would need its own blog or book.

I work at L.A. Vintage Furnishings which is an amazing store that is off the beaten track...not far from La Brea’s high priced antique stores and because of our location we can afford to keep our prices down. You will find unique furniture, art and accessories from the 18th century all the way to the early eighties. All showcased and surrounded by beautiful sets purchased from the Twentieth Century Studio, which make our customers feel right at home. Often we sit and chat about design and furnishings and help them with any decorating needs. I love working at L.A. Vintage and hope new people will come by and discover how fun we are!

Best regards,
Brian☺

Responding to Deannas inquiry up here, a bit late but still like to share the info in case it can be of use for anyone: Aardwark Letterpress is on 7th St downtown (by McArthur Park). I havent used them but I am a regular at the paper store next door called McManus and Morgan, the shop owner carries some products made by Aardvark.
