silverlake is home to some of the greatest design shops in la so be sure to check out this alternative craft fair taking place just outside of silverlake. details: holiday smackdown, december 8, 7-11 pm, taking place at sea level records (1716 w. sunset blvd). have fun!

I highly suggest checking out up and coming artist Michael Hsiung – His black and white prints of curiosities are humorous and quite intelligent.
One to watch for sure – I hear he’ll have t-shirts and prints available!
