The graffitti and other markers of “urban decay” made these lamps fun and attractive. The new pattern is pretty but bland.
i think that it is great that the design is so different than the other graffitti ones – shows a stretch of design ability as well as the softer side of the shade which could be used in completely different places than the aforementioned.
just my opinion.
