speaking of bears, my new painting by marci washington arrived today! it came from marci’s show at the beholder gallery, which is chock-full of great marci paintings. i love how haunting her works are- this one was a bit more chipper than the others, which is always welcome in my home (even ac liked it). click here for more info on marci washington.

love the painting, the lamp and the toikka bird… they all work very nicely together.
ps: that’s the picture from the beholder gallery, not my house. i wish that was my house, but it’s not. though the wall color is close to mine…i got 5 emails already asking what the wall color is. i’m not sure (but i’ll try to find out) but mine is almost the same and we used benjamin moore’s “senora gray”. much more biege than gray.

Marci was a co-worker of mine a handful of years ago, good to see her name here, though a couple years late on my part!
