bodo sperlein, the amazing, london based design consultancy and manufacturer, has a gorgeous line of “couture” products and lighting that is made on a commission only basis (only lighting is comm. based). clearly this isn’t for everyone, but i think their work (especially with flowers) is so beautiful it might actually be on someone’s “commission” radar. you never know. if i could think of a place to put that flower light where it wouldn’t look too girly i’d do it in a heartbeat. just so gorgeous. more info right here.

I love that flower light. I can only imagine how much it costs. I’m looking for a cool chandelier and I’m discovering how expensive nice ones are. Any leads on where to find cool lighting in Brooklyn or rest of New York?
Welcome bck! Ooohhh I love de flower lights. Pretty Victorian I muz say. Well, I’d love to put the lights at the tea corner of my room. So could sip tea & enjoy de beauty of the light.
