ok, i saved the best for last when it came to today’s obsessive fred flare posts. i loove these placemats. i love them. they’re made by bob’s your uncle and they feature photographs of old school diners and diner memorabilia. you can’t lose with these. especially if you have someone messy in your life. plop one of these down and you can both be happy.

I want the honey bear hanging on a wall in my apartment..killer photo!
I hope my girlfriend doesn’t see the honey bear placemat, because she’ll get it. And why would I mind that? Because it is one of my few pet peeves – honey is made by bees, not bears! I know this is the common packaging used because bears are cuter, but bears don’t make honey. Why this bugs me and not things like Aunt Jemima or the Log Cabin don’t, I’ll never know. Perhaps she originally made the syrup in a log cabin?
the package is not to indicate who MADE the honey? Why do you think that? It’s a bear because bears LOVE honey! So do I.
