JURY’S OUT…[shu uemura oils*ai yamaguchi] these limited edition bottles (home to shu uemura’s oil face washes) designed by japanese artist ai yamaguchi kinda freak me out. my initial reaction was “oooh..cool!” but then i looked closer. their eyes kinda weird me out.
what do you guys think….freaky or fabulous?

I love those bottles, as I find Ai Yamaguchi’s art unbelievably lovely. I wish they were even more colourful (except the clear/white one, which is beautiful in its minimal design).
Not used to anime style eyes?
i agree the design is quite lovely, but yeah, the anime eyes kinda creep me out. i’ve seen a fair amount of anime, but the all black anime eyes are eesh, creepy. but that said, i love the rest of the bottle. don’t know a ton about the artist== if you do, let me know where i can check it out! not much time for research this morning…
